![]() I got the High Rate battery 45.00 bucks for each, Duracell at Batteries Plus. Connected the battery without putting together, pressed the on button and voila working.ĬHANGE THE BATTERIES. When I took them apart I saw the one wire not connected to the battery terminal. The UPS will spontaneously power off for no reason. Put the new batteries in the second good unit and, did not work. Mine is 5 years old and only provides power for a 4-drive Synology NAS and a 1Gpbs switch, so less than 50W draw. So the bad unit and OLD GOOD batteries worked. I replaced it with a new battery as I turned the UPS back on it has about 70 charge so I assumed everything should be working now it just needs to fully charge the battery. Well the batteries worled in the bad unit. I have Cyberpower UPS, I had the battery replaced about 6 years ago recently the battery was completely dead so I figure it is time to buy a new battery. So I took the batteries out of the good unit and put them in the bad unit. So when I connected everything up, I put in two live batteries, NOT CONNECTED, so in essence a dead battery. When I put the new batteries together I NOCKED off one of the wires from the terminal. When you remove the old batteries, you need to cut the plastic tape and separate the two batteries which are wired in series. and there is a plastic sandwich in between the two batteries. The solution offers a convenient cloud-based management which allows users to access and monitor the UPS systems through a secure web portal or mobile app anytime, anywhere. Turned the UPS off but left it plugged in. Maybe your power supply can't support the extra load during the high res games or the ups is near its limit for current draw.Another one bite the dust. After putting this computer on its own ups, the problems went away. Every so often (sometimes multiple times a day), I will also hear a faint 'chirp' come from the UPS, as if its about to start beeping at me but then is interrupted from doing so. The extra current draw from this computer when it cranked up one of its drives was enought to give a warning, but it never shut down. A plug test is almost nearly always successful, but it shuts off randomly after a few weeks, even though there is no power event and the battery has 100 charge. Of course, there were two other computers hooked onto this ups and it was working near its limit. Cyberpower Ups Beeping CyberPower UPS systems also provide some alarm functions to notify users of UPS fault, such as battery. ![]() After the data was saved, the light would go out and the beep would stop. Best we could figure is that this disk was idle until the data save function was used and when the data disk spun up to speed the extra current draw would make the ups beep and show a red warning light. I had a system where the UPS would beep whenever the operator saved complex image data to the disk. Excellent pre and post sales support for APC Smart UPS, APC UPS Online, RBC Batteries and SIB Packs. ![]() My ups beeps when i try to play games at high res(1920x1080) with all the settings set to high.My GPU is a MSI gtx550ti 1gb Gddr5 and PSU is a 450watt one with dual 12v rails.Though the game runs smoothly when i run it,but suddenly the ups gives out continous beeps and then my pc shuts down. Now i am not sure wether i need to change my UPS or PSU.BTW my UPS is a 725VA one,a local brand. Can anyone help please!!
